Currency trading, also known as forex (foreign exchange) trading, is the act of buying, selling, and exchanging currencies with the aim of profiting from fluctuations in exchange rates. It involves the simultaneous purchase of one currency and the sale of another, typically in pairs such as INR/USD (Indian Rupee / US Dollar) or INR / JPY (Indian Rupee / Japanese Yen). Currency trading occurs in the global foreign exchange market Participants in currency trading include banks, financial institutions, corporations, governments, speculators, and individual traders. The forex market is the largest and most liquid financial market in the world, with daily trading volumes exceeding trillions of dollars.
